Hondas doing a damn good job on this new gen of Civic.
I'd drive the hell out of this with the 1.5T and a manual. Hell even the CVT to be honest.

I saw quite a few this past week while in Vancouver. They were head turning and sharp.

I've seen a couple sedans around lately. It certainly has presence for an econo-sedan.

I don’t know about the sedan. I was behind one in traffic for the first time and looking at it from the rear quarter it looks like a smaller Accord Crosstour. Cannot unsee.

I’m going to get flamed for this but it turns my head a lot more than any Audi (minus the R8) just for looks. It’s amazing how premium it appears.

I always see it in pictures but somehow in person can never make the comparison.

The new 1.5T is marginally quicker than the 8th gen Si.

I...actually agree. Especially the Touring with its LED headlights pulled straight from an Acura.

It’s gonna be quicker than a lot of things when the Honda tuners get their boost hungry mitts on them.

Yeah, the new Civic is a nice vehicle. Kinda bums me out that I bought my '15 a year ago and didn't wait. Everything I've read so far says there's a lot of untapped potential in the 1.5.

One of my friends just got one on lease, and let me tell you, that front end is fugly.
That chrome piece where the Honda emblem is on the nose? Its flat and sticks out a bit. It really kills the look of the car.

I got to test a sedan right after they first came out, same color as the coupe you posted. I came away more impressed than I thought I would be. The design is definitely one of those where you either love it or hate it, but not a bad little car to be in overall.

Please. Lose. That. Underbite.
Then we can talk.

It just went on the market and it’s already had a stop-sale put out on it. That doesn’t sound like a damn good job if you ask me.

Okay, besides that little piston ring fuck up.

They have a black “sport” grille that takes away from the weirdness of it a bit.

Not really, the chrome bits are literally just painted black.

Safe. Reliable. New. Maybe you should trade the BMW for this.

I’d genuinely consider it if I could swing a car payment and full coverage, but alas I can’t.

Word. I saw one on the highway the other day and almost puked on my steering wheel/hands.

I quite like it, but not enough to consider one for my upcoming purchase. I like it, but I don’t love it.

Viewing it from a rear angle, all the lines are clashy. Also, the sedan should have been made a liftback.
